Free Local SEO Market Planner

Turn real operating facts into a clear local search plan. The worksheet helps assign each market and query to the right page, profile relationship, geo-grid baseline and qualified-lead measure without sending the answers to the website.

Turn a local search idea into a measurable market plan

Define the real operating area, give each search intent one destination, and create a comparable Maps and lead-quality baseline. Use the local search service guide, the broader SEO strategy page, and the featured market pages for supporting context.

Your entries stay in this browser tab. Nothing entered in this planner is sent to Matt Brandenburg, stored in local browser storage, or submitted to a server. Printing and CSV export happen on your device.

Start with real customer contact

A Google Business Profile is intended for an eligible business that has in-person contact with customers during its stated hours. A storefront receives customers at a staffed location. A service-area business travels or delivers to customers and does not serve them at its address. A hybrid business does both.

Policy checkpoint: A service-area business should hide an address where customers are not served. A displayed storefront or hybrid location should reflect a real, staffed operation with permanent signage. Online-only businesses are not eligible for a Business Profile. Verify the current rules before editing or creating a profile.
